ShamWoW! It evens cleans Hooker blood!

So, Vince the ShamWoW guy got arrested in Florida this week. He picked up a hooker and paid her 1,000 for sex. He kissed her, she bit his toungue. Like tried to take his toungue completly off! He started punching her in the face repeatidly. She let go, they ran downstairs and were both arrested. I couldn't make that shit up if I wanted to.
Damn, lol

Thank you Anthony Grant!

Coach Anthony Grant has accepted the Alabama head coaching job. Which means he is leaving VCU after 3 regular season championships, 2 tourney championships and 2 NCAA bids. It is sad to see him go but I am glad for him and his family.
Here's my prediction: The next VCU coach is Tony Pujols the VCU assistant.

Rumor Mill- R.I.P. Magoo

I was browsin the internet and came across this story:

Sources report that early Thursday morning rapper Magoo, real name Melvin Barcliff, was found dead in a hotel room in Portsmouth, Va. Hotel owners said that they checked in "Magoo" two days ago and hadn't heard anything from the resident since the check-in. The cause of death has not been determined. Surrounding the rapper was an MP3 player and a notebook. Writing within the tablet, showed the derangement of a musician, disillusioned by the industry that had "chewed him up and spit him out". Police were called because a hospital associate stumbled upon an unconscious man inside the room. The rapper was believed to be visiting Virginia for a recording session, though he had not had a record out in quite some time. More details to follow.

Damn.

Where the Wild Things Are- Trailor

This shit got my underwear twisted!

If you ever read this book when you were younger than this looks like its the movie for you.

iPod on Suffle- Part.3

Musiq Soulchild- Don't Change. I really enjoy the fact that there are still artists that aren't afraid to show the fact that they are in love...I feel the majority of "Love Songs" aren't really about love...this is a good throwback to that era.

Wale- The Kramer. After the notorious "Kramer" rant where the "N" word was thrown around, Wale responded with what I think is more of a reflection of the society that creates these moments where people are able to hurt others with words. I've listened to song a lot and I feel it is one of the more truthful songs released in the last few years. At some points the Wale displays how the word with multiple meanings is becoming more accepted by everyone, even though it still carries many negitive conitations.

Mos Def- Got. To me this is classic Mos. Thats all i really have to say about that.

Thanks for shuffle'n with me, I'll catch ya'll on the next rotation.

PS When is the Gumby haircut coming back?

Artist you should know- D.Folks

Last Night I purchased an album from an artist that I had heard open up for Little Brother in Dec of '07. At the show I was very impressed this guys song writting and stage presence. Last night I saw that his album "Jupiter" was released in January so I had to get it on iTunes. D.Folks really came through on this. This whole album is real melodic and catchy. Although one of my favorite songs he does "Stacey Love" was not included on the album, but thats ok. Give the video below a watch and then go D/L this album, you won't be dissapointed.

BTW D.Folks is from Richmond Va and is signed to the same label as NERD.
