Wale Show Review

There was a Hip-Hop show in Richmond, Va so you know that EENJ and Sleaze was there. Wale came to the National and put on a hell of a show. Also, in the video you see a guy named Colin Monroe, he was ill. Not in the video below is local group Earthtone and newly signed Jay-z artist J.Cole...big ups to them.

Rock The Bells Lineup Announced

I went to this event last year (I reviewed it here) and had a great time. I will say after looking over this year's line up I'm not as excited, but they say that more poeple are going to be added shortly. Hopefully they'll put on Little Brother or Jay-z. lol

I am excited to see Pete Rock, Supernatural (Watch this video of last years freestyle), Murs and KRS-ONE hosting. They'll be in Washington D.C. for one of their stops and I am seriously considering going again.

So last night producer Just Plain Ant slid me a copy of his upcoming album "Dig Deep" and I'm puttin everyone on notice...Download it when it comes out. It's being released for free via Blocsonic which is a good place to refer to when looking for free music. Dig Deep is the first album that is being exclusivly released through Blocsonic.

I'm definatly gonna put the link up as soon as the album drops. But for now you'll just have to settle for the 2nd single from the album titled "Anti-Love" feat. Sleaze.

Today's Vibe-Out Track

Outkast- Aquemeni
Smooth beat and a catchy hook, My favorite part is 3000's two verses especially the 8 bars he spits at the end. Enjoy.

Outkast best duo in Hip-hop (honorable mention: Little Brother, Eric B. and Rakim, Run DMC, EENJ (lol),...etc)

Concert Review- The I'm-Good-I-Got-Guarana-Edition

Man, So last night EENJ went to go see The Foreign Exchange in our nation's capital and had another eventful night. First, we found a dope record shop underground it was tight. Then it was time to hit the bar and try to watch some football, so we did and watched the Steelers EEK out a win. Then we tried to go to the show, but the doors were not open because the opening act cancalled...so it was off to the nice spanish restaurant for more beers. Once there Elijah took over the TV and changed it from soccer to The Redskins game. We happened to be sitting next to a cowboys fan, who eventually bought us beer...as Elijah yelled "Uno Cervasa!"

Then it was time to get to the show. We got right by the stage and started messin with everyone around us. We made a bunch of new friends and partied with them all night. Foreign Exchange put on a hell of a show, ZO! was there too for an unexpected suprise. We all fell in love with our first bald woman, Yazarah. All I can say is...she's chewin my Winterfresh! lol. But we kicked it after the show and took pics and had them sign cds, they are all very cool people. Then we went down stairs and hung with Muhsinah for about 25 minutes, it was real tight talkin with her about startin in music.

On the way home, the metro closed at 12 and not 2 like we thought. So at 1:20AM we took a 50 dollar Taxi ride back to franconia, all the while playing Taxi Cab Confessional.lol. We made it home at 3:30Am thanks to the Guarana!...and we all made it to work

Elijah: Leavin' Some Behind EP

Well I finally got around to finishing this project and uploading it yesterday. Again, I took the new Foreign Exchange album and added some verses and things to it, to give it my own flavor. I did this too keep me occupied while I figure out what I want the rest of my albumto sound like. Hope you guys enjoy.

Peace

Elijah

Big Week For EENJ

What up everybody!

Yo, on the real-tip We have a busy ass week coming up! First we have a new website that we just bought and we have to finish so that we can post it and get it to all of you, the loyal fans. Secondly, We have a show this Thursday @ Alley Katz (10 Walnut Alley, Richmond, Va). It starts at 7pm and is gonna be a dope show.

Also we'll be giving out copies of "A New Day" as well as some other various merchandise that you won't have to pay for! lol.

Less than 36 hours later We will be in Dumfries, VA performing at Waterstock 2008. This is a 3 day event where bands perform on a bardge in the middle of the river 50ft in the air.....ILL! But last year 10 thousand people showed up so this will be huge for us. (Bet we are gonna have some pics for you guys from that)

Also we are in the midst of our solo projects so if you'd like to work with us now is the time to get at us. eenj@live.com ...thats the email.

The EENJ thought of the day goes a lil' something like this: Most people put their pants on one leg at a time, but if your in EENJ no matter which method you use your pants will never stay on!

Dueces,

Elijah
